"The team were very professional, thorough and, given the work created a lot of dust, I was also very happy at how they kept the place clean during the work through covers and the tidying up after the work was done. They showed up on time each day and I was kept up to date on a daily basis on progress and any questions that might incur extra expense or require decisions. The situation was, we returned to find our house, that had been rented out, had been sadly neglected and the wood on the bottom of the windows on a number of the sash windows was rotting and also the frames were not in a good state and there were problems with the base of the French windows. We asked John to come and have a look. He responded quickly to our request and was very thorough in looking at what we pointed out and also checking around for other potential problems. He reassured us about some areas that to our untutored eyes appeared problematic, but also spotted other areas of need. The quotation was clear, complete and arrived very promptly. The men who arrived to do the work arrived at the time agreed. They were pleasant and helpful and worked well and quickly. Each evening the windows being worked on were put back in place so that we had usable rooms. The work was completed within the time stated in the estimate and by the date agreed. After the work was completed we had a minor problem that one window 'stuck' when open. We rang John and within a day they came around to check what had happened. It turned out it was us not being too intelligent, but they handled the request with good humour and after 10 minutes the problem was corrected. The windows are now fully functioning and match the rest of the windows so that the new parts cannot be spotted from the rest of the window. As you gather we have no hesitation in recommending them.
